Having guided tour groups all around Ireland for 15 years, I found that what really interested our guests from North America and England was not so much the political and revolutionary history but the everyday lives of the ordinary Irish people.
You wanted to learn more about how they lived their everyday lives and saw the world around them – about what they believed and held precious, their fears and their passions. You loved to discover that people back then had the same needs and insecurities we all have today. You enjoyed learning how they came together as a community to celebrate life and entertain each other in challenging times. It really helped you connect with Ireland on a much more personal level.
We tell their story through the medium of the oldest and most magical form of entertainment by giving you two things: words and your own imagination. It is the most powerful form of communicating to and entertaining the human mind.
Maybe this is why this storytelling evening had been consistently voted the Number One dinner-theatre experience by Trip Advisor members since 2009!
I feel passionate about sharing these wonderful insights into Irish life.
